This Is Holland – Filming and Broadcast on RTL4

Since early 2018, myenergi has been represented in the Benelux by an enthusiastic team of employees, and zappi, in particular, has been positioned as the smartest charging solution on the market. The fact that this has not gone unnoticed is evident from the frequent inquiries we’ve received from various media outlets seeking to publicize our products. Numerous media and production companies in the Netherlands and Belgium reach out to us almost weekly to entice us to advertise with them. For example, we’ve received many offers from commercial TV stations to feature our company in a type of informational commercial. One of those companies was Z-Works, a content production company for the program “Dit is Holland.” This program airs on the most-watched commercial television channel in the Netherlands, RTL4. The first broadcast is on Sunday afternoon, with a repeat the following Saturday.

Production Day – Friday, March 12, 2020

Our team was well prepared, wearing clean work uniforms and full of anticipation for what was to come. Z-works stopped by our office in the afternoon with a cameraman and an editor. And as expected in our little country, the weather didn’t cooperate that day. So we decided to record the interview in our office first—something Managing Director Marc Zeguers was quite used to. As a radio host in his younger days, he’s stood in front of a microphone many times before, and he also records all of our YouTube instructional and installation videos. Still, we had to redo it a few times, because you want to convey as much information as possible in the shortest amount of time. Afterward, we shot some B-roll footage in the warehouse, and we’d actually captured some great shots of our solar panels ourselves that morning using a drone.

To film a demonstration of the charging process on location at a beautiful villa, we took a short drive across the border. One of our enthusiastic customers was happy to help out, so we were able to film the Zappi installed in his driveway. As mentioned, the weather didn’t cooperate, so we spent an hour there in the pouring rain capturing the necessary footage.

And then wait for the broadcast

The installation took place two weeks later, and the result was fantastic right away. A few minor adjustments were also made without any problems, so we have nothing but praise for Z-works. The broadcast aired on Sunday the 11th in the afternoon, and less than 5 minutes later, we received an order. It could have just been a coincidence 😉 but it still felt great.
