Your eddi converts excess solar or wind power into free hot water instead of feeding it back into the grid. With the PT1000 temperature sensor, your eddi knows exactly how hot the water in your water heater is—and that makes all the difference.

Smart Heating Based on Temperature

Without a sensor, eddi heats based on time or power. With the PT1000, eddi heats to a specific temperature. You simply set a target temperature, and eddi automatically stops as soon as your tank reaches that temperature. This way, you conserve energy for when you need it and prevent the water from being heated unnecessarily.

Always in the know

You can see the measured tank temperature right on your eddi's screen and in the myenergi app. You can tell at a glance whether there's any hot water left, no matter where you are.

Easy to install

The sensor is placed in the sensor inlet of your hot water tank or mounted against the copper outer wall of the water heater. With a 3-meter cable, you’ll have more than enough reach to your eddi. Have the installation performed by a certified installer.

Your eddi has two PT1000 inputs, so you can monitor two zones or tanks separately.
