myenergi libbi home battery — modular home battery for single-phase and three-phase systems
The libbi is myenergi’s modular home battery. It stores your excess solar energy during the day so you can use it in the evening and at night for your home or your electric car. The libbi is available for both single-phase and three-phase connections, ranging from a compact system to as much as 40 kWh of storage.
Use your solar energy in the evening, too
Your solar panels generate the most electricity when you’re not home during the day. The libbi stores that excess energy and provides it when you need it: for cooking in the evening, running the washing machine, or charging your car. Your own sunshine, day and night.
Single-phase or 3-phase: choose the option that fits your connection
- libbi 1-phase — for most homes. A 3.68 or 5 kW inverter that can be expanded in modules from 5.1 to 20.4 kWh.
- libbi 3-phase — for three-phase connections and high energy consumption. An 8, 10, or 12 kW inverter, expandable up to 40 kWh. Ideal for use with a heat pump, a three-phase EV charger, or a commercial building.
Not sure? Take a look at your meter box: if you have a three-phase connection and high power consumption, then the Libbi 3-phase is the logical choice.
Modular Scalability
Start with what you need now and easily expand later with additional battery modules. That way, your storage capacity grows along with your energy consumption—whether that’s due to a growing family, a heat pump, or a second electric car.
Works with virtually any inverter
Thanks to its hybrid design (AC and DC), the libbi can be integrated into both existing systems and new construction projects. When connected to the AC grid, it works with virtually any inverter; when connected to the DC grid, it uses its own MPPT inputs to maximize efficiency.
Safe LFP technology with a 10-year warranty
The Libbi uses LFP (lithium iron phosphate) batteries: a safe, sustainable chemistry that contains no cobalt. The battery modules are IP65-rated and come with a 10-year warranty—the same for both the single-phase and three-phase models.
Smart Charging and Discharging at the Right Time
Using the myenergi app, you can charge your vehicle using your solar surplus or during the cheapest times of the day. The libbi supports fixed day/night rates as well as dynamic rates (such as Tibber and Octopus). Charge when electricity is cheap; use it when it’s expensive.
Power During a Power Outage
With the optional emergency power feature, a designated circuit in your home will continue to function if the power goes out. The 3-phase version provides significantly more backup power (up to over 9 kW), allowing you to power even heavier appliances.
Part of the myenergi ecosystem
Combine the Libbi with the Zappi and Eddi, and set priorities in the app: decide for yourself whether your excess power goes first to your car, your hot water, or your battery. For a complete 3-phase system, connect the Libbi 3-phase to a Zappi 22 kW and an Eddi+.
Ready for the end of the net metering program
As the net metering program is phased out, selling excess electricity back to the grid is becoming less and less profitable. A home battery lets you store your own electricity and use it yourself, instead of giving it away to the grid at a low rate.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the libbi suitable for a 3-phase connection?
Yes. There is a separate libbi 3-phase model, with inverters up to 12 kW and storage capacity up to 40 kWh. For a 1-phase connection, choose the libbi 1-phase.
Can I expand the system later?
Yes. You can add additional battery modules—one per module for single-phase systems, and always in pairs for three-phase systems.
Which inverter do I need?
No specific inverter is required for AC connection. For DC connection, the Libbi uses its own MPPT inputs.
Does the Libbi work during a power outage?
With the optional emergency power circuit, a designated circuit continues to operate. The 3-phase version provides the most backup power.
