eddi is a solar energy converter that helps you make the most of your self-generated power instead of feeding it back into the grid.

What does it do?
The surplus energy you have generated with your solar system is used by our smart energy converter Eddi to heat your water. Don't have a surplus? Then eddi can also use energy from the grid at the times when it is most advantageous for you.

Excess self-generated solar energy is normally fed back into the grid. If you have already invested in solar panels, you naturally want to use as much of your own power as possible. This is possible with eddi. By interrupting the power cycle and redirecting it to your heating systems, eddi allows you to supply your home with hot water and make optimal use of your self-generated energy.
Dynamic rates
Our eco-smart technology makes intelligent decisions based on your self-generated energy and your energy supplier's energy rate. At certain hours, flexible energy rates are significantly cheaper. With eddi, you can use built-in, programmable boost timers to ensure that you use energy from your energy supplier at the most advantageous times. In addition to eddi, your other myenergi devices can also be optimized to use energy from the grid at the lowest possible rate per kWh.
Save for later
Another advantage of eddi is that it also works with various energy storage systems, such as a home battery. So, if you don't need the surplus immediately, you can divert it to your storage to use later, when you do need it.

The eddi energy diverter redirects power based on your energy generation and consumption
Your eddi energy diverter contains a mains sensor, also called a CT clamp (Current Transformer), which monitors your power generation and redirects the excess to your heating system. The eddi records all energy-saving data so you can continually save by optimizing your usage.
For your peace of mind, there is also intelligent adjustment to daylight saving time, as well as overload and short-circuit protection. You can also opt for a wireless installation, linked to harvi. The eddi is fully compliant with global power grid standards and comes with a 3-year warranty.
