myenergi Extends Partnership with Grimsby Town FC for 2026/27 Season

New sponsorship deal sees myenergi continue long-standing relationship with Grimsby Town FC

Smart home energy technology manufacturer myenergi has partnered with Grimsby Town FC as the club’s Official Technical Training Kit Sponsor for the 2026/27 season. The agreement, which continues a relationship spanning four seasons, will see the myenergi logo emblazoned across the training and matchday warm-up kits.

A Four-Year Partnership Supporting Club Success

Having initially taken on the Official Club Shirt Sponsor position in 2022, myenergi has supported the Mariners ever since, throughout one of the most memorable periods in its 148-year history. Alongside achieving promotion from the National League at the end of the 2021/22 season, the club also reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup in 2023, becoming the first club in history to knock out five teams from a higher division.

Community Impact Beyond the Pitch

But while performances on the pitch have hit the headlines, the partnership has delivered significant community impact off the pitch too. Campaigns such as ‘Green Town’ have helped to position Grimsby as a hub for renewable energy excellence, while the mygrimsby fund has seen tens of thousands of pounds donated to charitable causes across the local area. In addition, the two organisations have worked closely together to implement more sustainable practices at Blundell Park and the training ground.

Transition to Technical Training Kit Sponsor for 2026/27

Having proudly featured on the front of the matchday shirt since 2022, myenergi will transition into the role of Official Technical Training Kit Sponsor for 2026/27, with the brand featuring across the club’s training and player match-day warm up kits. The move reflects the next phase of a partnership that has always been about more than just shirt placement and continues to focus on myenergi’s commitment to the club and the wider Grimsby community.

myenergi CEO Andrew Clint on the Partnership

Andrew Clint, Group CEO of myenergi, commented:

“Over the past four seasons, we’ve been a proud partner of Grimsby Town FC. Alongside being the club’s front of shirt sponsor, we’ve worked closely together to highlight the area’s growing reputation as a hub for renewable technologies, helping Grimsby’s ambition to become ‘Europe’s green town’.

“We’re proud to continue that journey as the club’s Official Technical Training Kit Sponsor for the 2026/27 season. Our commitment to GTFC, the town and the people within it remains as strong as ever. We look forward to the next chapter of this partnership.”

Polly Bancroft, CEO of Grimsby Town FC, added:

“We’re delighted to be extending our partnership with myenergi into 2026/27. Over the past four years, the relationship has gone far beyond the football pitch. Together we’ve made a meaningful difference to people across our community. That shared ambition is what makes this partnership so special, and we’re excited about what lies ahead.”
