Technical Support Assistant

myenergi APAC  is a young, progressive, innovative and fast-growing company with it’s APAC HQ  based right here in Melbourne.  We specialise in the design and manufacture of ground breaking renewable-energy technology products such as the Zappi and Eddi.

Due to a very exciting stage of growth and development, we’re now looking to recruit a Technical Support Assistant.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking calls.
  • Making sure we have full customer details.
  • Noting the key issues in a new Tech Support Ticket.
  • Answering very basic issues using a call handling script.
  • Either passing call on to Engineer if available or letting customer know we will call them back / respond by email as preferred.
  • Managing new tickets.
  • Ensuring we have all the details.
  • Responding to basic enquiries.
  • Passing to engineer.
  • Helping to manage the Knowledge Base – so creating the articles, formatting, adding drawings and photos, using the material provided by the engineers.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Good phone skills.
  • IT literate (they will live in the Tech Support helpdesk!)
  • Good written communication.
  • Organised, motivated, self starting etc.
  • Would be an advantage if they had experience with a call/help desk ticketing system.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
