{"id":42550,"date":"2022-08-11T15:32:18","date_gmt":"2022-08-11T14:32:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/myenergi.com\/ie\/?page_id=42550"},"modified":"2022-08-11T15:45:10","modified_gmt":"2022-08-11T14:45:10","slug":"updating-your-firmware","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.myenergi.com\/ie\/updating-your-firmware\/","title":{"rendered":"Updating your firmware"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n<div id='block-header-basic-block_62f512c3b82f3'  class='flexi-block header-basic-block pt-8 lg:pt-16 pb-8 lg:pb-16 relative '>\n\n\n    <div class=\"relative \">\n\t\n\t<div class=\"container flex flex-col mx-auto    justify-end py-11 md:py-9 lg:py-11 \">\n\t\t<div class=\"first-mt-0 \">\n                            <h1 class=\"h2 lg:h3 !mb-0\">\n                    Updating your firmware on myenergi devices                <\/h1>\n                    <\/div>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id='block-simple-content-block_62f512cfb82f4'  class='flexi-block simple-content-block pt-8 lg:pt-16 pb-8 lg:pb-16 '>\n\n    <div class=\"container mx-auto wide-container\">\n\n        <div class=\"content-inner bg-white rounded-2.5xl \">\n\n            <div class=\"mx-auto first-mt-0 last-mb-0 max-w-[90%] xl:max-w-[990px]  \">\n\n                <p><strong>Please follow these instructions for updating your firmware on myenergi devices, including hub, eddi and zappi.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You can check the firmware version of your eddi or zappi by looking on the \u201cInformation 1\/4\u201d menu on the built in display.<\/p>\n<p>Current firmware versions are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Eddi: 3.048 (10\/11\/20)<\/li>\n<li>Zappi v1: 3.101 (27\/11\/20)<\/li>\n<li>Zappi v2: 3.103 (22\/01\/21)<\/li>\n<li>Hub: 3.051 (10\/01\/21)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Details of new firmware updates and updating your firmware correctly are published on the myenergi forum\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/myenergi.info\/firmware-versions-t133.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">myenergi.info<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Hub<\/h2>\n<h2><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-12911 size-thumbnail aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/myenergi.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2019\/01\/hub-product-large-150x150.png\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/myenergi.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2019\/01\/hub-product-large-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/myenergi.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2019\/01\/hub-product-large-324x324.png 324w, https:\/\/myenergi.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2019\/01\/hub-product-large-100x100.png 100w, https:\/\/myenergi.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2019\/01\/hub-product-large-24x24.png 24w\" alt=\"Updating your firmware on myenergi devices\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/h2>\n<p>To make sure you have the latest firmware on your hub<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<div>Unplug the power to the hub<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Press and hold the download button<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Plug the power back in again while continuing to hold the download button<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Count to 5 slowly.\u00a0 Power light will turn yellow, then release the download button<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>The power light should now change to green and the \u201cserver\u201d LED should now turn white for up to a minute (although this may take a lot longer if the server is heavily loaded \u2013 please be patient). When the firmware on the hub as been updated the server light will return to blue or green.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>IMPORTANT \u2013 Now make sure that the latest firmware images for the zappi and eddi are downloaded<\/h3>\n<p><strong>For hubs with v2 firmware<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Press and hold the download button for five seconds until the \u201cserver\u201d LED turns white and the \u201cpower\u201d LED will remain green.<\/li>\n<li>The \u201cserver\u201d LED will remain white while the new images are downloading<\/li>\n<li>Once the download is complete the server light will turn blue or green again (please note that this could take up to an hour to complete)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>For hubs with v3 firmware (July 2020 onwards)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Briefly press the download button.\u00a0 When the button is released the \u201cserver\u201d LED turns white and the \u201cpower\u201d LED will remain green.<\/li>\n<li>The \u201cserver\u201d LED will remain white while the new images are downloading<\/li>\n<li>Once the download is complete the server light will turn blue or green again (please note that this could take up to an hour to complete)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em>If the \u201cpower\u201d LED is white then the hub is in diagnostic mode.\u00a0 Press the download button again to return the hub to normal operation<\/em><\/p>\n<p>See below for detailed information on updating your firmware on myenergi devices;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3>Eddi<\/h3>\n<h3><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-7921 firmware<\/div>\n<ol>\n<li>Turn the eddi off using the switch on the bottom<\/li>\n<li>Press and hold the \u201ctick\u201d button and while you are still pressing the button turn the eddi back on again<\/li>\n<li>Screen will say \u201cRelease Button\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Release the \u201ctick\u201d button<\/li>\n<li>Screen will show the BOOTLOADER MENU<\/li>\n<li>Use the down arrow and the \u201ctick\u201d button to select \u201cDownload Latest F\/W\u2026\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Firmware will download and then the eddi will reboot.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3>Zappi v1 (The original firmware:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>On more recent devices:<\/div>\n<ol>\n<li>Press the down arrow so that the screen shows the Main Menu<\/li>\n<li>Use the down arrow and the right hand \u201ctick\u201d button to select the menu \u201cOther Settings\u2026 \u201d (the bottom menu item, not Charge Settings) and then \u201cAdvanced\u2026\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Enter the passcode (default is 0 0 0 0)<\/li>\n<li>Select \u201cSystem\u2026\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Select \u201cDownload Firmware\u2026\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div>On all versions:<\/div>\n<ol>\n<li>Press the down arrow so that the screen shows the Main Menu<\/li>\n<li>Press and hold the left hand \u201cX\u201d button.<\/li>\n<li>Immediately press and hold the right hand \u201ctick\u201d button<\/li>\n<li>When the backlight flashes (after about five seconds) release the \u201cX\u201d button<\/li>\n<li>Screen will show \u201cRelease Button\u201d \u2013 Now release the tick button<\/li>\n<li>Select \u201cDownload Latest
