It will also have the most impressive range of an EV, driving for up to 620 miles on a single charge.<\/p>\n<p>To put this into perspective, the longest vehicle range currently sits at 379 miles (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tesla.com\/en_GB\/models\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tesla Model S<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Unveiled in 2017 and set to be unleashed onto the roads in 2020, the Roadster will boast a 200 kWh (720 MJ) battery. Meanwhile, the Model S is equipped with a 100 kWh 400 V lithium-ion battery,<\/p>\n<p>The main pain point people had with electric cars was always the limited range. Now, thanks to the amazing work of Tesla, that is no longer an issue.
