The Victorian ZEVET program<\/h2>\n

The Victorian Government is committed to driving Victoria\u2019s zero-emission vehicle boom.<\/p>\n

The Minister for Energy and Resources announced $2.2 million in funding across four projects under the ZEVET program, for innovative technologies in electric vehicle (EV) charging.<\/p>\n

The zappi ZEVET project installed 100 smart EV chargers in homes and businesses across Victoria. These chargers detect and utilise surplus electricity generated via rooftop solar to charge an electric vehicle. It can also work with the grid to alter charging in response to demand from the grid. This cutting-edge technology optimises the use of renewable energy in homes and businesses.<\/p>\n
